Rally Portugal
- 31/5/2009

The 15 yachts taking part in the 2009 Rally Portugal were pleasantly surprised to be issued with Yellowbrick trackers for their 550 mile voyage from Plymouth (UK) to Bayona (Spain). Gone are the days when friends and family waved goodbye and awaited news of landfall almost a week later. This year they will be able to track the yachts online as they progress out of the Western Approaches and across the infamous Bay of Biscay.
The event organisers will be able to accurately predict each yacht's arrival time in Bayona, ensuring that all are welcomed into the harbour by friendly faces.
Rally Portugal is organised by the World Cruising Club, who are best known for their 'Atlantic Rally for Cruisers' (ARC). Each year, over 200 yachts sail between Las Palmas (Gran Canaria) and St Lucia in the Caribbean, and Yellowbrick are looking forward to providing tracking systems for this event in November.
